She became involved in her industry because of her prior experiences. She graduated college and started working at a university. That didn't fulfill her, so she started working at a telecommunications company with her father. She didn't enjoy that line of work either and tried to find a less stressful career. She had some knowledge of her current industry and worked her way up within the company.
